Aspire Nautilus Cisco Spec HH Replacement Coils
These modified replacement coils for Aspire Nautilus and Aspire Nautilus Mini feature optimized airflow, wicking, and coil specifications to substantially improve performance over the original replacement BDC and BVC coils. These specs allow more versatility of airflow adjustment while keeping liquid feed, vapor, and flavor consistent. Optimized assembly helps the coil run cooler while increasing performance, flavor and improving the longevity of the coil itself. These modified coils are NOT disposable, the coil is easily removed (without dumping the liquid) this allows for easy cleaning, which will further lengthen the life of the coil. When installing a new coil it is best to prime the coil head with 2-3 drops of liquid before intalling in the tank.
A balance of power, draw speed and airflow setting will get the best results.
A smaller airflow setting with a fast draw speed at a low power setting is more likely to overfeed than the next size up airflow setting and all else the same. The draw should be smooth. As airflow and/or draw speed is increased, power can also be increased.
This is a simple procedure and requires rinsing with water or ethanol, drying/blowing excess water out, inserting coil into base of aspire tank and dry burning briefly until “sizzle” is faintly heard. The coil should not glow with heat for more than a split second but can be repeated multiple times in short bursts of heating/cooling. This will "burn off" any carbon build up on the coil. Carbon build up will cause your coil to underperform, heat unevenly, and potentially fail.
The fuller the tank is the slower the feed, the less full, the faster the feed. This should be kept in mind when setting up your airflow/voltage/wattage. Pulling air quickly through a more resticted airflow will feed the coil faster, possibly over feeding the coil. If this happens the drip tip can be removed and the tank turned upside down to allow the excess liquid to be blown out. If minimal over feeding has been caught soon enough (can hear bubbling), the airflow can be set larger to stop liquid flow untill the excess is vaped off.

How to Use your Aspire BDC/BVC:
To fill, turn the tank upside down and remove the threaded bottom cap. Fill the outer portion of the tank to jsut below the top of the center tube (avoid getting e-liquid into the center airflow tube) and then screw the end cap back onto the tank snug. You can now turn it rightside up and check for leaks before using.
Gurgling or Leaking can occur if liquid gets into the center airflow tube. To clear this liquid and improve performance remove the tank from the battery, hold the tnak upsiode down and blow through the air hole into a paper towel postioned at the mouth piece. If this happens often you may need to check that all connections are screwed down tightly or replace the head and wick assembly with a new one.
You should never run the tank completely dry. Doing so could result in a burnt or damaged wick and can cause leaking. Refill the tank when the liquid level reaches approximately 1/4 full
