Returns Policy

 You may return most new, unopened, unused items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund not including the original shipping cost ( 20% re-stocking fee may apply to any opened unused returnable item). All returns must be post marked back to us within 8 days of delivery. We will compensate (store credit or additional product only) your cost of First Class return shipping if the return is a result of an error on our part (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). For health concerns and safety the following products may NOT be returned or credited: liquid, drip tips, atomizers, cartridges, cartomizers, clearomizers, coil heads, and atomizers.  Returns will require the item including all original parts, packing material, instructions, etc. within reason, this means that everything must be returned exactly as it was sent to you. If you received an incorrect item it must be returned unopened,unused and without damage. Poor repackaging or the return of damaged merchandise could result in refusal of your return and loss of any refund or replacement item. Returns containing defective products will be replaced with the same item or reasonably similar (with customers approval), only after the original products are returned. We offer a 24hr Only DOA/Damage claim, you will need to check your items promptly upon receipt. We can cross ship replacements. You will be charged for the replacement item + shipping, a credit or refund will be issued when the returned item is received.

NOTE: Please be advised that if a returned item is found to be damaged due to misuse and/or abuse we will not issue a replacement. If you were cross shipped a replacement you will be charged for the replacement product + shipping as well as the return shipping of the original product.

If you need to return any unused or unopened item ONLY, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the "My Account" menu and click the "Return Item(s)" button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item(s). You can also use our ticket system.

Once we have received and inspected your return (Usually within 72 hours of receipt) your refund/credit will be issued within 7 days and you will receive an email confirmation that your return is completed. Please note, depending on your financial institution it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the credit to post to your account.


Shipping

 We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Please be aware of any laws/restrictions in your country. Avid Industries is not responsible for packages that are seized or destroyed because of their content.

 When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. We typically ship within 24hrs of your order confirmation, please be aware that USPS Express mail and USPS Priority mail are a service that USPS provides, the delivery times for these methods DO NOT account for order processing time. If your destination is not in our shipping system you can contact us through our CS ticket system and we can setup a shipping cost manually.

 Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound except for USPS First Class Mail which is priced per ounce up to 13 ounces.

Shipment Issues

 Since we rely on third party shipping entities like USPS, UPS, FedEx, and foreign customs agencies to handle the shipment of our products, Avid Industries, Inc. / AvidVaper.com can make no guarantees or warranties on delivery times or dates on our products. USPS Express mail is the only shipping method with guaranteed shipping times, First Class and Priority Mail have estimated shipping times but are NOT guaranteed by USPS. We will contact USPS for any shipment issues or delays we are made aware of. Avid Industries, Inc. cannot be held liable for any damages or inconveniences caused by late product delivery, damaged items, mis-deliveries, stolen mail, lost packages*, foreign customs delays, foreign customs seizures or item removals unless the package is insured. USPS Express mail and USPS Express Mail International carry $100 of insurance by default, USPS Priority Mail carries $50.00 of insurance by default. First class Domestic and First Class International shipping do no have insurance and would require insurance to be purchased separately. USPS provides a cost effect service with reasonable delivery times, USPS does however make mistakes and may mis-route or lose packages, unfortunately these errors are out of our control and we are not responsible for errors or delays once the package leaves our facility unless the buyer has added shipping insurance to their order. Shipping insurance is available here, without shipping insurance, for whatever the reason, claims to USPS will result in a denial. Regrettably this is the policy of USPS and is out of our control. If your package delivery confirmation shows "Delivered" and you have not received your package this is a local post office/ delivery issue and would need to be handled on the local level, please contact your local delivery person or local post office as soon as possible. It is the buyers responsibility to track their shipments. Please contact USPS directly +18002758777 if you feel your package is experiencing abnormal delays, tracking shows as delivered and you have not received your package, or possible mail theft.

 * We will reship lost packages only after USPS confirms a package is lost. 

 

International Shipping

 Your order will ship with in 48 hours. Our international shipping quotes are generated through an API to USPS, and FedEx. Shipping charges are calculated live based on weight and destination. Once you have entered your shipping address you will be available to choose from a variety of shipping options. When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page. If your destination is not in our shipping system you can submit a customer service ticket here and we can setup a shipping cost manually. Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment. Please be aware that USPS International First Class Mail and International Priority Mail are NOT trackable outside the US without the addition of Insurance or registered mail option ($20) *. USPS International Express mail is trackable and is insured by default up to $100 USD. Without tracking or insurance added to your order we can not accept any claims of damage, delayed delivery, non delivery, or lost packages. For First Class and Priority International Mail the last scan location available will be Jamaica, NY. This is the USPS/EMS International sort center located at JFK International airport.

* Delivery confirmation is now available for First Class and Priority International packages by default for the following countries

Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, France, Netherlands, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Switzerland, Israel and Brazil.

USPS Delivery Confirmation Explained

Delivery confirmation is not the same as tracking. Tracking provides scanned information at most every transfer location from origin to destination. Delivery confirmation is just "Delivery confirmation". Packages do not always show tracking updates with every transfer with First Class and Priority.

 USPS Priority Mail Explained

Priority Mail is not an accelerated or guaranteed service. Priority Mail is the shipping method required by USPS for packages over 13 ounces. First Class Mail has a maximum weight of 13 ounces, if your order is 14 ounces and higher it must ship with Priority Mail, first class mail option will not be available. Choosing Priority mail for packages 13 ounces and under will cost more and will be delivered in the same manner and speed as First Class Mail.

USPS Express Mail Explained

Express Mail shipping is the fastest USPS service available. It is also the most reasonably priced high-speed shipping service available. Express Mail is available to anyone in the United States including Alaska and Hawaii and can be delivered to any home, business or P.O. Box.

When Is Express Mail Considered Overnight Delivery?

Express Mail and other express delivery methods (such as Fed-Ex, UPS Overnight, DHL Express, etc.) can deliver your package especially quickly if you are familiar with their schedule. An especially important factor to be aware of is the daily cut-off time. The cut-off marks the end of the time period at which packages will arrive the next day.

USPS cut-off time for Express Mail is 2PM Eastern Standard Time. This means that orders placed before 3:00 PM EST will ship same day but will NOT arrive at our local post office before the daily cut-off for overnight Express mail. Some of these packages will reach their destination before 5:00 PM (local time) the next day. Some of the packages will even be delivered before noon the next day. Read the following for some exceptions.

Some Express Mail Considerations:

  • Orders placed after 3:00 PM EST will not be packaged in time to make it to the post office same day. These packages will remain in our warehouse and be shipped the following day by 6:00PM, Unfortunately this means that these packages can take as long as 48 hours to reach urban destinations and 72 hours to reach rural destinations
  • Rural locations will get their packages quickly using Express Mail. Unfortunately this may not be overnight. Express Mail will deliver these packages in the fastest manner possible, usually in two days. (Express mail is NOT guaranteed overnight, it is guaranteed 1-2 days depending on travel distance from origin to destination (this does not include processing time.)
  • 1-Day Delivery may not be available at or between all Post Offices or at all times of deposit. A Priority Mail Express 1-Day Delivery directory, showing detailed local information about Priority Mail Express 1-Day Delivery, is available at Post Offices.
  • Priority Mail Express 1-Day Delivery items must be presented no later than the cut-off times authorized by the postmaster. Priority Mail Express 1-Day Delivery items mailed after the cut-off time authorized by the postmaster are accepted for delivery on the second day after mailing, subject to the standards for this service.
  • We do not ship packages on weekends. Express orders placed after 3 PM EST on Friday will be shipped on Monday and be delivered Tuesday/Wednesday. Express Mail orders placed between Thursday at 3 PM and Friday at 3 PM do not always arrive on Saturday morning, many postal service stations work an reduced shifts on Saturdays.
  • We do not ship packages on Saturday, Sunday or USPS Postal Holidays. Orders placed after 3PM EST will ship next day, orders placed on Friday after 3PM EST will ship on Monday.
