leaks
Posted by Unknown on 5th Oct 2012
I liked the design, end cap, and easy filling.
Every single one leaked as soon as I filled it. Out of 5 I did not get a single vape.

Love the G4
Posted by Julia on 3rd Aug 2012
I have used the G4 for the 510 for over a year. I have learned to ONLY use PG. Do not use VG.
Shipping was fast and I received exactly what I ordered.
Thanks Avid Vaper

These Are The Best Carts I've Used
Posted by Unknown on 24th Jul 2012
Wow, I'm not sure why the negative reviews about the G4's. I love them. They are very convenient vs. having to drip juice into a metal cart and poly every few minutes. Also, mine have not leaked like my previous regular 510 atomizer or cartomizers. The G4's only leaked initially when adding juice, but after wiping away the juice a few times they have been fine. Also, I love how disposable the G4's are and I replace mine every week or so that I have a fresh tasting and strong vaping experience every week. I would not go back to the old carts. Also the old cart would get disgusting, drip everywhere, and they were impossible to clean.

ok but the smokemizer is better
Posted by Zoomie57 on 15th Jul 2012
worked, didn't leak as long as I kept a cap on the bottom when not in use. I put the cap on the bottom also while filling. Low resistance cartomizers give me a better flavor, but this doesn't have the off flavor during break in, there is no break in.

Redneck Thoughts On G4 Carto
Posted by Unknown on 28th Apr 2012
Well let start here. I received my G4 a few days ago and I LOVE it, it is simple to fill and lets you taste the juice with out filler or long wicks.
I know they say you cant use other 510 drip tips with the g4 but i tried the Ming (china Knock Offs) and Guess what?..The worked with no LEAKY LEAKY.. So if you don't like the squishy-ribbed tip that comes with the cared you have an option, I held the carto on my LT upside down for 8 min with the Ming tip on it and no leaks at all.
My only CON: is after about the 7th refill on the G4 i got a burnt taste and could not get it to go away, was like a DRY carto taste So threw it away and grabbed another one.on about the 3rd refill of this none and so far so good.
Vapor Production,, all i can say is PLUMSSSSS of vapor.
Taste well i get a Good clean taste with a warming taste similar to the 306's.. not as good as the 306 but close.
This is the easiest carto to fill that i have found..
Thanks for reading

Easy fill, no leaking
Posted by Mari on 2nd Feb 2012
So far so good.
Used on: Prodigy V3 with 6v batteries, 50/50 juice.
Fill: very easy; just pop off the soft plastic cap, drip slowly down the side of the tank, and fill to 3/4. I think a syringe would be overkill
Hits: Easy draw, lots of vapor, throat hit is cooler than cartos I've used before, getting used to that as I prefer a warm TH. The first one I tried started hitting great immediately, then had a short spate of burnt coil taste, and I am certain I wasn't drawing too quickly. I put two drops of juice down the center and let it sit about 5 minutes and have had no problems since.
Leaking concerns: I am using a stainless steel zip tip, and even tipping the unit upside-down I get no leaking, though I plan to carry it carefully. I am concerned about cracking in the future, because I see what looks like hairline fractures around the bottom, on the inside of the tank, but so far so good.

ohm resistance is wacked
Posted by chase on 6th Dec 2011
ok so i get this thinking im gonna love it from reading other reviews, well wrong ifilled it up put it in my ego and it wouldnt even work nothing happend.. so i put in on my provari and checked the ohm rating.. well it was rated at 4.0 ohms. so 4 ohms at 3.7 volts dont work so well... thank god i have a provari and i can crank it up to 6 volts so the coil will actually heat up enuf to actually vaporize the 100% VG liq. needless to say these things are jsunk or atleast the one i got was... bottom line is that if your looking for something similar to this that actually works get a ce2,ce3, ir try the bud sapphire its actually really awesome
*all my other products i ordered worked jsut not the g4 and my shippment was received in an orderly fasion

Best Clearomizer on the market that doesnt involve carto surgery!
Posted by In Cog Neato on 13th Nov 2011
Well thus far Ive tried metal cartomizers (metalic taste, most have no way to view juice level, etc..), clearos with filler (Burnt filler, short lifespan, off taste, etc), "fluximizers" (waay over hyped, better mouthpiece clearance, thats about it, require surgery to wick worth using), and various revisions of Clearomizers (require surgery to wick properly, if at all, taking out the cap & fluffing the wick makes them vape like a beast, but they require far too much fussing & will flood/spill if not kept upright at all times, and the wick is brittle & easily damaged, and they leak from the base with/without base cracks, etc..). Ive officially given up on top coil Clearomizers as they are a colossal pain in my rear (though I enjoyed the worry free chain vaping/vapor production/decent flavor, though after much fiddling & time consuming refluffing etc..), which led me to try these bottom coil, easy fill G4 clear cartomizers. At first I was disappointed and actually assumed I had a bunch of duds, & I wasnt getting much vapor out of them straight away, but despite my reservations I continued to try to break them in. Well Ill tell ya, I'm glad I gave these little suckers the time of day because I think I just may have found my very favorite vaping accessory to date! Sure, dripping will give you a thicker, more flavorful could of vapor, but these lil beauties come very close to that experience without horrible, rotten fish dry hits Ive experienced all too often while dripping. After the break in period & learning how best to draw on them these G4s really do produce a good deal of tasty vapor, they dont leak (thus far), the design is great for on the go filling without carrying needles around & lookin' shady tryin to fill em, the tips are more comfortable than ANY of the other carto tips Ive ever used, & they are the best, most worry free solution to driving & vaping Ive found thus far (and believe me, Ive looked lol). They also lend themselves to chain vaping once you break them in & get them going, sometimes a little priming has helped me get the wick wet when starting a new one or after a refill, and on occasion youll want to blow condensation or perhaps a bit of trapped juice from out of the center tube & out the bottom while detached from the battery, but that is a small thing compared to having reconstituted ejuice mix in constantly with the contents of your clearomizer. Sure, the flavors are muted a bit, but depending on your juice, the way you draw, and exhale (with these I exhale mostly through my nose), these can be a real hassle free treat of a vape if given half a chance! I love these lil suckers, love the design, and see nothing but great possibilities with this design and have no problem naming these the best clear cartomizers in the industry that Ive used thus far. at two bucks a piece these are a bargain & will save money on 510s that clog, gunk up, taste funky, give horrible dry hits, etc etc etc.. I go for nothing but 306s, and now these lil G4s from hence forth until which time they improve upon existing products in the industry or come up with other hassle free vaping devices for reasonable prices.. Avid Vapor is a great go to site for many of your vaping needs, and the costumer support is very helpful and reasonable in my experience, highly recommended! They also do have some of the best atomizers out there, though a bit pricey they are a cut above the rest IMO. Wish they would come out with USA premium ejuice, but its not really their specialty.. anyway thats my take on it, vape on!

Excellent after the slight learning curve.
Posted by Jack Speaks on 30th Aug 2011
Not impressed as the other reviews noted, BUT! Very happy now that I know how to use them. I was drawing strong getting great vapor but not much flavor. The method that has me all geeked is, draw slow at first and you will get a great shot of flavor. (high resistance takes longer to heat up) Then draw harder once you get the great tast factor. you will be sold as I am.
The "fit" problem has a work around if you are the DIY type. Chuck the cartridge up in a 1/2" drill (gently) and shave the end down(at the bench grinder or use a file) to expose the center of the connector.
The cone "fit" has the same work around as well. Measure for clearance or check and test.
Happy Vaping.

decent vapor but won't fit
Posted by Unknown on 14th Jun 2011
I was trying to use these with my Riva battery. I have an extra 901 cone but it didn't fit through so I wouldn't use it much. It says the 901 cone fits over it but i couldn't get it through. Vapor production is decent though.

Like the idea, not the result
Posted by Unknown on 9th Jun 2011
I like the concept of these, but they don't live up to my expectations.
The two biggest points in the G4's favor are how easy they are to fill and the mouthpiece. I really dig these mouthpieces, they are very comfortable, and will likely save them for use on other gear once I'm done with these
Did not perform well in any respect on my Tornado batteries, but were much better around 4.5 volts. At a higher voltage, the vapor was excellent (the resistances in my 5-pack ranged from 3.7-4.6 ohms). Flavor, on the other hand, was very poor. Not only was the juice's flavor muted, but there was a plasticky taste almost overpowering it. Not a dry coil sort of taste, either, this was much different.
I had high hopes for these, but after trying them I think I'll be taking a big pass on adding these to my regular vaping routine
Pros:
-easy fill
-good vapor
-comfortable mouthpiece
Cons:
-muted juice flavor
-strong "plastic" taste present even on second fill
-high resistance not well-suited for many standard batteries
