Kanthal AE Round Resistance Wire

Kanthal AE is a ferritic iron-chromium-aluminium alloy (FeCrAl alloy) with exceptional form stability and service life in elements with large coil to wire diameter ratio. It is suitable for use at temperatures up to 1300ºC (2370ºF). Kanthal AE has been developed for conditions of extreme surface loads in fine wire dimensions. It contains trace elements which provides for an extremely well adhering oxide with good emissivity properties. Typical applications for Kanthal AE are in fast-response elements due to the dense and well adhering oxide, the alloy is also suitable for applications using CLOSE WOUND COILS (micro coil builds).
