Just picked up the 1.8ohm version of these, short wick.

I've always been a DCT guy when it came to carrying my ego around, while I use the Provari at home.

These things work nicely, clean flavor once you get them running. The draw is a little stiffer than usual, but I'm not a fan of airy draws so it all works out.

Initially, let these wick for 10-20 minutes from the first fill. I got a nasty burnt, chemical-like taste to begin with You'll have to tip these upside down pretty often to keep the wicks wet, but I believe that the longer wick version might work better.

They drink juice, or they start out that way atleast. I took about 10-15 drags and already burnt out 1/4 of the whole tank. These will require refilling throughout the day, but they're much more convenient than standard carto's.

Chances are, you'll have wicking issues. I alleviated that problem by not overly tightening the drip tip. Screw it in until it's secure, but not too much. Too tight, and you'll block access to the wick because the tip presses down on the silicon piece that houses the coil. There are a few modifications that you can do to relieve some of the pressure caused by the drip tip too.

Other than that, you get great throat hit, a very clean flavor (assuming yours is wicking properly), and it looks super cool on an ego battery.

Give these a chance, just don't give up on them if they don't work out great on the first fill.
