510 stainless steel mod connector w/ rigid delrin insulator/ silver plated open or closed center post

Shorty 510 stainless steel press fit connector. Perfect for pressing into devices and mods that use the standard nickel plated or brass connectors. Uses custom machined rigid delrin insulator and silverplated brass sealed or open center pin. Sealed center pin has a bore hole on the bottom to simplify soldering. The stainless connector shell can NOT be soldered to, the connector should be pressed into a conductive material (brass, aluminum, Stainless) to facilite the devices ground connection. Install the delrin insulator in your 510 connector ( this swill fit freely in the insulator groove of the stainless 510 connector) and with mild pressure press fit the center pin through the insulator. Compression on the press fit will hold the insulator and connector in postion. Solder the center pin wire BEFORE pressing into the delrin insulator, excessive heat could melt the delrin insulator.
