510 Connector Rigid Delrin Insulator and Silver Plated brass center post.

Custom machined rigid Delrin insulator and silver plated brass sealed or open center pin. Sealed center pin has a bottom bore hole to simplify soldering. Repalce your flexible rubber or silicone insulator with a rigid crush proof insulator and silver plated center post. These insulators will fit most any 510 press fit connector with a 4mm insulator bore. Install the delrin insulator in your 510 connector ( this should fit freely in the insulator groove of your 510 connector after you have removed your existing center pin and insulator) and with mild pressure press fit the center pin through the insulator. Compression on the press fit will hold the insulator and connector in postion. Solder the center pin + wire BEFORE pressing into the insulator, excessive heat could melt the delrin insulator.
