May have got the not so good one?

Well it's a nice looking volt meter but I had some problems right out of the box.
If I recall this is a Rainbow Heaven product, I've thrown the box away so can't check.
When I first connected it to a 510 I noticed I was getting real jumpy readings and the meter wouldn't settle down and give me a solid reading.
So I removed it and was looking it over and noticed that the center positive contact pin was not centered put was pushed hard against the insulator causing the positive to appear to be touching the outer negative threading.
I tried to use a screw driver and see if it was moveable in order to get it off the negative but had little or no success.
So while trying to see if I had fixed it at all when I went to attach it the second time when I screwed it all the way on the tube section twisted and the 510 end stayed put, so I removed it and the male end came off the tube completely. OK, so not having really great luck here, BUT I always have a plan "B" and I think lets just remove it completely from the tubing and REBUILD it, not so easy, they hot glued the heck out of the end that didn't come lose, so what to do now?
Throw it in the parts draw and figure it out later, and then pull out the old tried and true Tobecco version I've had for the last 5 years.
Well it looked nice anyhow.
Let me say this though, I had another problem with a shipping issue and some other parts not arriving because the bag had ripped in transit and the parts had fallen out due to USPS ruff handling.
Avid Vaper was really great about sending me those new parts again.
Actually I believe her name was Jessica who was just wonderful and I see these parts are due to arrive today.
I told her to just not worry about the volt meter, I'll fix it someday.
